What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit our website (hoziron.com), interact with our team, or apply to our design partner programme. It does not cover data processed by the Hoziron platform on behalf of our customers — that is governed by our customer agreements and the customer's own privacy notices.

Data we collect

Website visitors

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this website. We may collect basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and availability monitoring. These logs are retained for no more than 90 days.

Design partner applicants

When you contact us via email or apply to our design partner programme, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message. We use this solely to evaluate and respond to your enquiry.

Business contacts

We may hold business contact information (name, job title, email, company) for individuals we have a legitimate business relationship with, for the purposes of managing that relationship.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the following bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests — operating our website, responding to enquiries, managing business relationships, and ensuring security.
  • Contractual necessity — where processing is required to enter into or perform a contract with you or your organisation.
  • Consent — where you have given explicit consent (e.g. opting into communications).

How we store and protect data

Personal data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g. email hosting), subject to appropriate data processing agreements.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected. Business contact data is retained for the duration of the business relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@hoziron.com.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
